COMMERCIAL FARM RATE SCHEDULE - F2

APPLICABILITY

This schedule is applicable to corporations engaged in the business of agriculture/farming as defined by Section A of Chapter 128 of the Massachusetts General Laws. Three-phase service is not available under this rate schedule.

Multifamily Structures - Any structure created or subdivided after the effective date of this rate schedule must have separate meters for each dwelling unit plus a house meter for any common use. Groton Electric reserves the right to waive this requirement if it decides that unusual circumstances warrant a single meter.

Mixed Uses - Structures that have one meter serving both farm and non-farm business uses will be billed on the C1 rate unless the non-farm business use is a home occupation as defined by the Town of Groton Zoning Bylaw that either does not require a Special Permit or requires a Special Permit only because the use is in an accessory

Groton Electric’s Terms and Conditions in effect, and subject to change from time to time, where not inconsistent with any specific provisions hereof, are a part of this rate schedule as filed.

PAYMENT

Bills are considered due and payable when presented for payment.

CHARGES

Bills for electrical service consist of Supplier Services (Generation), and Delivery Services (Customer, Transmission, and Distribution) charges as follows:

SUPPLIER SERVICES

Generation $0.10214/kWh

This charge may be adjusted periodically as described in the “Definitions” section of these rate schedules.

DELIVERY SERVICES

Customer Charge $8.25 (The Customer Charge is the minimum monthly charge.)

Transmission Charge $.01618/kWh plus or minus the Transmission Charge adjustment

Distribution Charge $.02358/kWh

DISCOUNT

A discount of $.01420 per kilowatt-hour will be allowed for prompt payment if the bill is paid on or before the discount expiration date as shown on the bill. No discount shall be allowed when arrears are due and unpaid. No discount is allowed on a Minimum Charge.
