IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS To help us to better serve our customers, Groton Electric Light has compiled a list of those customers who have a dependency on electricity for health reasons. Specifically, we want to identify those customers who have a CRITICAL HEALTH CONDITION which requires use of an appliance or equipment that uses electricity. Groton Electric Light will endeavor to restore power on a priority basis for customers with a CRITICAL HEALTH NEED, but this effort cannot be relied upon as assurance that power will be restored within a certain time frame. The nature and extent of any power outage determines our response. Because we cannot control these events, we strongly recommend a backup battery system or a generator for people whose health is dependent on electricity.
