HIGH TENSION RATE SCHEDULE - HT

AVAILABILITY
This schedule is applicable to any customer who owns
and maintains equipment that allows the delivery of
electricity at not less than 2,400 volts delta or
13,800 volts wye, with a demand of 30 kilowatts or
more, provided that distribution lines of that voltage
are available to make such delivery possible. The
determination of which voltage will be supplied shall
remain the sole determination of Groton Electric.
Should the above voltages not be available, it will
be the responsibility of the requesting party to pay
for the installation of these distribution lines per
Groton Electric’s established policy.
Groton Electric’s Terms and Conditions in effect,
and subject to change from time to time, where not
inconsistent with any specific provisions hereof,
are a part of this rate schedule as filed.
PAYMENT
Bills are considered due and payable when presented
for payment.
CHARGES
Bills for electrical service consist of Supplier
Services (Generation), and Delivery Services (Customer
Charge, Transition, Transmission, Distribution, and
Demand) charges as follows:
SUPPLIER SERVICES
Generation $.07366/kWh
This charge may be adjusted periodically as described
in the “Definitions” section of these rate
schedules.
DELIVERY SERVICES
Customer Charge $32.25 (The Customer Charge is the
minimum monthly charge)
Transition Charge $.00007/kWh plus or minus the Transition
Charge adjustment
Transmission Charge $.0083/kWh plus or minus the
Transmission Charge adjustment
Distribution Charge $.0286/kWh
Demand Charge $10.00/kW or 85% of the kVa demand,
whichever is greater
The billing demand shall be the highest 15-minutes
kW or kVa registration during the month for which
the bill is being rendered; but not less than 80%
of the maximum demand established during the preceding
eleven months. In case of fluctuating loads, Groton
Electric may base the Demand Charge on an instantaneous
peak load or for a period of less than 15 minutes,
but in no case shall it be less than 30 kW.
DISCOUNT
This rate does not qualify for the prompt-payment
discount.
