HOUSE HEATING RATE SCHEDULE - HH

APPLICABILITY
Note: The HH rate is the same as the R1 rate and
is for record-keeping purposes only.
This schedule is applicable in instances where residential
customers use electricity as a primary heating source.
Three-phase service is not available under this rate
schedule and will be billed on the C1 Rate Schedule
unless it is to serve multifamily housing.
Multifamily Structures - Any structure created or
subdivided after the effective date of this rate schedule
must have separate meters for each dwelling unit plus
a house meter for any common use. Groton Electric
reserves the right to waive this requirement if it
decides that unusual circumstances warrant a single
meter.
Groton Electric’s Terms and Conditions in effect,
and subject to change from time to time, where not
inconsistent with any specific provisions hereof,
are a part of this rate schedule as filed.
PAYMENT
Bills are considered due and payable when presented
for payment.
CHARGES
Bills for electrical service consist of Supplier
Services (Generation), and Delivery Services (Customer
Charge, Transition, Transmission, and Distribution)
charges as follows:
SUPPLIER SERVICES
Generation 0-500 kWh = $0.0612
>500 kWh = $0.0717
This charge may be adjusted periodically as described
in the “Definitions” section of these rate
schedules.
DELIVERY SERVICES
Customer charge $6.25 (The Customer Charge is the
minimum monthly charge.)
Transition charge $.03157/kWh plus or minus the Transition
Charge adjustment
Transmission Charge $.0088/kWh plus or minus the
Transmission Charge adjustment
Distribution Charge $.01842/kWh
DISCOUNT
A discount of $.0126 per kilowatt-hour will be allowed
for prompt payment if the bill is paid on or before
the discount expiration date as shown on the bill.
No discount shall be allowed when arrears are due
and unpaid. No discount is allowed on a Minimum Charge.
